Titanium-Carbon steel clad plate

The clad plate is produced by bonding two or more metals together into a single steel sheet or plate. Titanium-Carbon steel clad plates combined the titanium and carbon steel material through the explosion and rolling process. The titanium and titanium alloy cladding make the metal plate more corrosion resistant, abrasive resistance and high temperature and pressure resistance.

Applications

Titanium-Carbon steel cladding plates are ideal when high strength and corrosion resistance are needed simultaneously, such as pressure vessel, paper-making plant chemical tanker, desalination plant and so on. Typical applications include petrochemical, chemical, food, fertilizer, wet metallurgy, vacuum salting making, electroplating.

The clad plate is incredibly difficult to punch, drill or machine, but it can be cut and formed, including plasma cutting, drawing, bending and hot forming like normal steel plates.
