HASTELLOY Alloy C-22 (UNS N06022) is a typical nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Alloy C-22 displays excellent resistance to pitting and corrosion and excellent resistance to oxidizing atmospheres up to 1040°C. HASTELLOY C-22 has excellent stress corrosion resistance, which is better than C-4 and C-276 in the oxidizing medium.
