UNS S32654 Stainless Steel Plate

Equivalent Grades: UNS S32654 (Alloy 654), EN 1.4652, ASTM UNS S32654, X1CrNiMoCuN24-22-8, 654 SMO

S32654 stainless steel is a super austenitic (highly alloyed) stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. Cited properties are appropriate for the annealed condition. S32654 is the UNS number for this material. Alloy 654 is the common industry name.

It has a fairly high electrical conductivity among wrought super austenitic stainless steels. In addition, it has a fairly low thermal conductivity and moderately high ductility.

7% Mo, very high N alloyed austenitic grade. The most corrosion-resistant stainless steel in the world. High mechanical strength. Useful for e.g. pressurized and erosive systems handling chlorinated seawater at higher temperatures, plate heat exchangers and flue gas cleaning applications.
