EN 1.4460/AISI 329/F52/SUS329J1/UNS S32900 Stainless Steel

EN 1.4460/AISI 329/F52/UNS S32900 is a duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel characterized by resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC), high resistance to pitting, crevice, and general corrosion, and very high mechanical strength. It can be used in marine applications for hydraulic cylinders or anywhere where good corrosion resistance is needed. It provides very good resistance to corrosion, particularly in a chloride-bearing environment. And it gives extra resistance to stress corrosion, pitting corrosion, and fatigue corrosion.
